Lanzhou Jiaotong University (LZJTU) recently sent 13 students to Malaysia to participate in the 2026 China-ASEAN University Student Forum, held at Xiamen University Malaysia Campus. As a key event of the 2026 China-ASEAN Education Exchange Week, the forum brought together over 350 students from more than 20 universities.

During the forum, LZJTU students engaged in discussions on regional development, sustainability, technological innovation, and cultural exchange. They also visited the Malacca Historical Cultural District and the Zheng He Cultural Museum to learn about China-Malaysia cultural exchanges. At the China-ASEAN Youth Cultural and Arts Exchange Evening, the students took part in cultural performances. At the conclusion of the forum, all participating youth jointly issued the “First China-ASEAN University Student Forum Cooperation Initiative.”
