On June 12, Lanzhou Jiaotong University (LZJTU) and Universidad Autónoma de Coahuila (UAdeC) held a signing ceremony for a cooperation agreement at LZJTU’s administrative building. The agreement was signed by Nie Lei, Executive Deputy President of LZJTU, and Lourdes Lodes, Vice President of UAdeC.

The two universities first held a cooperation meeting in April and have maintained close communication since then. Under the agreement, both parties will collaborate in areas including faculty and student exchanges, joint research, and curriculum development, with initial cooperation to focus on engineering.

The head of the Sister City Affairs Office of the Gansu Provincial People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries attended the ceremony and expressed support for the partnership.
