From March 31 to April 3, a delegation from the Office of International Affairs and the Office of Science and Technology of Lanzhou Jiaotong University (LZJTU) visited Kyrgyzstan.

On April 1, the delegation visited Kyrgyz State Technical University and held a joint seminar with the China Academy of Railway Sciences on the application for a Belt and Road Joint Laboratory. The three parties reached consensus on the lab’s positioning, research directions, and operational mechanisms.
On the morning of April 2, the delegation visited Kyrgyz National University to advance the implementation of a strategic cooperation agreement signed in 2025. The two sides specified action plans for joint research, student exchange programs, faculty visits, and international Chinese language education, and agreed to establish a regular communication mechanism.

On the afternoon of April 2, the delegation visited the Chinese Embassy in Kyrgyzstan to report on LZJTU’s cooperation efforts in the country and the outcomes of the visit. The Embassy affirmed LZJTU’s initiatives and expressed support for future collaborative projects.
The visit advanced practical cooperation between LZJTU and Kyrgyz universities in areas including joint research platforms and institutional partnerships.
