On July 13, a delegation led by Liu Yanping from the French Graduate School of Aeronautical and Automotive Engineering (ESTACA) visited Lanzhou Jiaotong University (LZJTU). Executive Vice President Nie Lei met with the guests to discuss student exchanges, research collaboration, and faculty visits.

Nie Lei highlighted LZJTU’s strengths in rail transit education and international engagement. Liu Yanping introduced ESTACA as France’s only engineering school covering aeronautics, aerospace, automotive, railway, and maritime sectors, and shared its cooperation experience with Chinese universities. Both sides agreed to launch student exchange programs first and expand to other areas later.

The delegation also visited the School of Traffic and Transportation and affiliated laboratories.
