On July 20, a five-member delegation from Albukhary International University (AIU), led by its Chancellor, Prof. Datuk Dr. Ir Mohd Saleh Jaafar, visited Lanzhou Jiaotong University (LZJTU). Vice President Huo Haifeng met with the delegation, and the two institutions signed a cooperation agreement.

During the meeting, Huo Haifeng highlighted LZJTU’s academic strengths and the School of Literature’s achievements in Chinese language education, proposing the joint establishment of a “Chinese Language and Culture Center” as a key collaborative initiative. Chancellor Jaafar noted AIU’s commitment to meeting local demand for Chinese language learning and expressed confidence in leveraging LZJTU’s expertise to advance the center. The head of LZJTU’s Office of International Affairs also presented the university’s international resources. Following the talks, the delegation toured the School of Literature’s facilities and cultural exhibition spaces.
