On April 7, Center of International Exchanges held a review and defense meeting for the short-term high-end foreign expert introduction projects in 2025. The heads of Center of International Exchanges, Science and Technology Division, Faculty of Geomatics as well as personnel responsible for introducing experts from six colleges attended the meeting.

The meeting introduced the basic situation and review process of the short-term High-end foreign expert introduction projects in 2025. The project leaders of the six colleges made presentations about overseas experts, the basis of preliminary cooperation, the purpose of the project and the expected results, and answered the questions raised by the experts of the review team. After the defense session, the experts discussed the significance, content, level of the expert team, budget standards and other indicators of the intellectual projects of each college and determined projects to be funded and funding standards.
Experts at the meeting agreed that the introduction of high-end foreign experts is an important way to improve the teaching and scientific research. It is also a key link to build an international first-class teaching faculty, and is of great significance to strengthening the construction of academic degrees and first-class disciplines. It is recommended to strengthen interaction and resource sharing among different departments and collages to better introduce foreign experts
