On March 25, Elsevier released 2024 Most Cited Chinese Researchers List.

Three LZJTU scholars were included in the list, namely Chu Ke (specializing in Materials Science and Engineering), Dong Wenkui (specializing in Environmental Science and Engineering) and Huo Haifeng (specializing in Mathematics).

The list uses Scopus, the citation and indexing database of Elsevier, the world's leading information analysis company, as the statistical source, and adopts the methodology developed by Shanghai Softech Education Information Consulting Co., Ltd. A variety of indicators are used to present the scientific research contribution and innovation value of Chinese scholars in their research field. Relying on the precipitation of citation data of scholars' long-term academic achievements and visual analysis of scientific research influence, it helps scholars to build unique academic logos, enhance the recognition of their research results in academia and industry, and contribute to the global promotion of academic reputation.
