On September 3rd, a grand meeting commemorating the 80th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War was held in Tiananmen Square, Beijing. Xi Jinping, General Secretary of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, President of the People's Republic of China, and Chairman of the Central Military Commission, delivered an important speech and reviewed the troops. The teachers and students of our university closely followed the grand event, watching and listening to the meeting through various means.

All university leaders present on campus, along with principals from relevant functional departments, gathered in Conference Room 324 of the Administration Building to watch the event together. Faculty and students from various secondary units organized collective viewing sessions through Party branches, Youth League branches, grades, and classes. All undergraduate new students of the grade of 2025, organized by the Student Affairs Office, assembled at the North Campus Sports Ground for a collective viewing session.
