A three-member delegation from Technical University of Sofia (TU-Sofia), led by Professor Dimitar Ginchev, visited Lanzhou Jiaotong University (LZJTU) from March 3 to 4. The delegation held talks with heads of the Office of International Exchanges and the School of International Education. Both parties introduced their institutions and discussed topics including talent cultivation, joint research, and academic exchanges.

On March 4, the delegation visited the School of Traffic and Transportation for further discussions. The two sides engaged in in-depth conversations on student exchanges, faculty visits, joint applications for international research projects, and short-term academic workshops. Multiple areas of cooperation were preliminarily agreed upon, and a regular communication mechanism was proposed to facilitate implementation. The delegation also visited Gansu Provincial Rail Transit Research Center.

The visit expanded LZJTU’s cooperation network in Central and Eastern Europe and laid the groundwork for future collaboration in engineering education, digital technologies, and transportation.
